NEWCASTLE NEW YEARS EVE 2024
Canvas Events collaborated with local creatives Fingers Crossed to deliver the New Year’s Eve Celebration on Newcastle’s Foreshore. The event attracted over 50,000 and transformed the foreshore to a vibrant and colourful family fun atmosphere with Bike Parades, Inflatables, an immersive Wish Walk, Food Trucks, DJ Zones, Live Musicians and a Quiet Zone.
QUAD CROWN MOUNTAIN BIKE STAGE RACE
Four Mini MTB Stage Races in four stunning locations built for the Weekend Warrior!
Riders will enjoy a weekend away, racing each day on some of Australia’s best trails, but once the riding stops, you will have just as much fun off the bike with friends and family to enjoy these beautiful tourism destinations.


THE NEWCASTLE GIN EVENT
The Gin Event is an event where Australia’s best gin is showcased, delicious food is served, and local music is on display… Think Garden party meets gin festival! The event was held on the 10th February 2024 at the Newcastle Museum and was an amazing day filled with amazing local and interstate distillers.

NEWCASTLE AIR SHOW 2023
In November of 2023 the Newcastle Foreshore attracted 100,000 people to this fabulous free community event. City of Newcastle (CN) together with the Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) entertained a RAAF aircraft flying display at 10am to 12.30pm and again at 1.30pm to 4pm. Canvas Events was the engaged event manager overseeing all aspects of the on the ground delivery.

NEW ANNUAL ARTS FESTIVAL
Canvas Events has produced the Civic Park Stage and the Museum Park Global Gathering from 2022 to 2024 respectively. Overseeing all operations, theming, production, and licensing for the New Annual Arts Festival, Canvas partners with Equip Multimedia to be a turnkey solution for the event. Canvas works closely with the festival Artistic Director and the team at council to produce this brilliant arts festival for Newcastle. 2024 also saw Canvas Events stage the Event Opening on King Street creating a stage on the iconic steps of Newcastle’s Town Hall

P!NK PARTY TRAIL
To celebrate P!NK’s Summer Carnival Tour, Canvas Events collaborated with Newcastle Tourism Industry Group, City of Newcastle and Venues NSW to create a P!NK Party Trail that ensured economic impact back to local business for the event week.
Canvas Events worked together with Equip Multi Media and Fingers Crossed Creative to produce a Hero Activation in Wheeler Place featuring a giant disco ball and a business incentive program within the Newcastle SBR precinct.
The activation took place from the 8th – 13th February 2024
